This Privacy Policy describes how Tourius (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use Tourius, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with applicable data protection laws and the requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

1. Scope and Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including Organizers, Players, Viewers, and visitors who access the Platform without creating an account.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only data that is reasonably necessary to operate the Platform and provide its features.

2.1 Account and Profile Information

  • Name, username, email address, phone number
  • Account credentials
  • Role designation (Organizer, Player, Viewer)

2.2 Organizer-Specific Data

  • Tournament configuration and management data
  • Payment and billing information (processed via third-party payment providers)
  • Communications with players and participants

2.3 Player-Specific Data

  • Registration details
  • Date of birth
  • Tournament participation data
  • Match results, rankings, and statistics
  • Notifications and communications related to tournaments

2.4 Viewer and Usage Data

  • IP address
  • Device identifiers
  • Operating system and app version
  • Usage and interaction data
  • Crash logs and performance metrics

2.5 Public Information

Certain tournament information is public by design, including:

  • Tournament names and descriptions
  • Schedules, results, rankings, and standings
  • Public participant or team names

3. How We Use Data (App Store–Required Purpose Limitation)

We use personal data solely for the following purposes:

  • To operate and maintain the Platform
  • To enable tournament creation, registration, and participation
  • To display tournament information and results
  • To process payments and subscriptions (Organizers only)
  • To send transactional and service-related communications
  • To provide customer support
  • To ensure security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We do not use personal data for unrelated advertising purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data.

We may share data only as described below:

4.1 Service Providers

We share data with vetted third-party providers that perform services on our behalf, such as:

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure
  • Analytics and performance monitoring

Player data is shared with Organizers solely for tournament administration and participation.

5. Data Retention

Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms and appropriate safeguards.

9. Children’s Privacy (Store-Compliant)

The Platform is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law, unless explicitly permitted by law and organizer policies.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate consent. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted promptly.

10. App Store & Google Play Disclosures

Apple App Store

  • Apple is not responsible for data handling or privacy practices of the Platform.
  • This Privacy Policy governs all data collected through the app.

Google Play

  • Data collection and usage are disclosed accurately and consistently with Google Play’s Data Safety requirements.
  • Users are informed of data collection and use prior to installation and within the app.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
